BUSH 'N BUCK PRIVATE GAME FARM

General Rules & Regulations for all Guests:

• Bush 'n Buck Private Game Farm will not in any way accept responsibility for any loss, damage to personal property, injury/death
  or disappointment of any kind suffered during your stay with us.

• Right of admission reserved.

• No day visitors are allowed.

• Our Water is not suitable for drinking. Kindly bring your own water or buy bottled water from our kiosk/guard room.

• Any personal items left behind will be kept safe for up to 6 months in the office for collection.

• After leaving any personal items longer than 6 months, it will be donated to charity.

• Postage can be arranged for personal items left behind at the cost of the customer.

• Storage can be arranged for bicycles or any other larger items whilst enjoying your stay with us.

• No feeding of the game/wild animals.

• Please do not harm our trees by breaking off their branches for firewood.

• No quads or motorcycles allowed.

• No drones allowed.

• No cannabis allowed.

• No pellet or paintball guns allowed.

• Speed limit – 20 km/h.

• Use of the facilities is at own risk.

• No littering allowed; dustbins are provided.

• Any person who deliberately damages property will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will be held responsible
  for any costs due to damages.

• Swimming is not allowed between 22:00 and 06:00 due to the treatment of pools.

• The hot water swimming pool will only be heated during weekends, long weekends, school holidays & December holidays.

• The kiosk will only be operational during weekends, long weekends, school holidays & December holidays.

• Game drives are to be booked in advance at the reception - No phone in bookings allowed.

• No personal vehicles are to be used for game viewing.

• Hiking and own bicycles allowed for game viewing in the bush (At own risk & no private vehicles allowed).

• Laundry services are available @ R 19.00 per kg.

• Laundry must be delivered before 09:00, no washing will be accepted after 10:00.

• Wood, briquettes, ice, 5lt water and firelighters are available from our guardroom once the kiosk is closed thru-out the whole night.

• Please note that we do not fall under the loadshedding agenda, however we do experience outages at the substation especially
  with severe weather. We unfortunately do not have the capacity to run generators or back-up power solutions during these
  outages and we ask that everyone please be patient till the power is restored if such an event occurs.

Chalet & Birds Nest Rooms Rules, Regulations & Information:

 

• Check-In time strictly from 14:00 (earliest)

• Check-Out time strictly at 10:00 (latest)

• R50.00 extra charge per hour for late checkout.

• All accommodation is based on self-catering.

• Key deposits are no longer demanded. Bush 'n Buck works on an honesty system, we ask that you please report any damages
  immediately and to pay the damage costs. Any damages not reported will be billed to your account and can lead to suspension
  of future bookings.

• Housekeeping services are available for the chalets, if you do not wish to be disturbed, kindly hang the ‘do not disturb’ sign
  provided on the door (Main gate for Big Five chalets in the bush).

• Towels are provided for the chalets (Birds nest rooms not included). Kindly bring your own towels along for swimming.

• Inventory provided in the chalets are for use at the chalets only, please do not move items between other chalets.

• A full inventory list of the room is provided when checking in.

• We have verified, prior to your arrival, that all items are present and in working condition.

• Kindly report any missing or broken items to the reception within 2 hours of check-in.

• Any loss or breakages from the inventory list will be charged/billed to your account.

• We request that all guests lock their doors at night and store away valuables.

• Please note that Jacuzzi's only blow jet streams of hot water. THERE ARE NO BUBBLES AVAILABLE ON OUR JACUZZI'S.

• Bird nest rooms only: No housekeeping is provided / No towels & blankets are provided.

Caravan Rules, Regulations & Information:

• Maximum of 1 Caravan or Camping Trailer / 1 Vehicle / 5 People per stand

• Extra person per night: R100,00

• Extra vehicle per night: R100,00

• Check-In time from 12:00 (earliest)

• Check out time is 11:00 (latest)

• Strictly no solid ground covers allowed.

• No loud music at any time / please respect the other campers & guests. If not abiding to these rules, trouble makers will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

• Use only braai stands for fire, do not harm the grass.

• Mops are provided in the ablution blocks, please return to its original place once used.

• Shared ablution blocks A,C,D & X use industrial boilers that consume large stockpiles of wood and will only be switched on during peak seasons or with large group bookings. If a booking is made close to these units in low seasons, Bush ‘n Buck has the right to move your stand to a different stand close to one of our electric geyser ablutions.

Dog Policy:

​

• Only small breed dogs / pets are allowed on the farm

• Dogs / Pets to be always kept on the lead when moving around the farm premises.

• Any dogs / pets causing disruption or being a nuisance to other guests, will be requested to leave the farm immediately
  (including their owners)

• Clean up after your dogs. Any owners not doing so will be requested to leave the farm.

• NO DOGS / PETS ALLOWED IN THE SWIMMING POOLS.

Cancellation Policy:

 

• 100% of the value of the payment will be forfeited if booking is cancelled within 14 days of arrival date.

• 5% Admin fee will be charged on any cancellations received.

• Minimum of 2 night’s booking is essential. (Hippo, Big Five's & Small Herd Chalets only)

• Minimum of 3 night’s booking is essential over long weekends for chalets & caravan stands.

• The full extent of the stay will be charged for any premature departures.

• Confirmed bookings cannot be postponed.

We have security guards patrolling the premises at night. They can be recognized

by their blue uniforms and shirts. Should you notice anybody without the appropriate uniform or

anyone behaving suspiciously, please do not hesitate to report it to reception or phone 0827724747.

 

Kindly keep your belongings always safely locked up, Bush n Buck does not in any way accept

responsibility for any loss or damage of personal property during your stay.

Please note that Bush 'n Buck Private Game Farm, as many other well known resorts in South Africa,

are unfortunately also under the Government load shedding agenda and during such times certain

amenities and facilities will be unavailable. 

 

All thee above Rules, Regulations & Information will automatically be accepted by 

yourself & accompanying parties upon entering the property.
